Position Summary
Mojo Executive is seeking skilled and dedicated Independent Tax Preparers to join our dynamic team. This position operates on an independent agreement basis, offering flexibility and autonomy for professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional tax services. As an Independent Tax Preparer, you will play a critical role in helping clients navigate the complexities of tax laws and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation: Accurately and efficiently prepare a variety of tax returns.
- Client Consultation: Provide high-quality tax consulting services to clients, helping them understand their tax obligations and planning opportunities.
- Compliance and Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations. Conduct research to ensure compliance and provide innovative tax solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve client queries and tax-related issues. Provide clear and concise guidance to clients.

Key Requirements
- Valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number). (Will help obtain)
- Experience in tax preparation not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Package Inclusions
All packages come with the following:
Unlimited Federal & State Returns 1040,1040NR, Sch c, 1099
Currently, we do not allow new PTIN contractors to file corporate returns but you may file small schedule C based businesses and independent contractors.
DFY Content Assistance
Mojo Executive will provide basic content templates for you to utilize via social media and email marketing.
Unlimited Software Training
We will host recorded trainings once a week on software usage to ensure that the contractor is comfortable with the software. Support is always available.
Unlimited Built-In Tax Support
Contractor will be included in a Microsoft Teams chat as well as be provided with a direct contact link to book a meeting whenever assistance is necessary. Tax preparer can hand-off a client and have their consultation done for them, for a nominal fee or have the company prepare it for 50/50 split.
Cloud Tax Software
The software is a cloud-based solution allowing you to virtually prepare from anywhere. Security guidelines apply that would be discussed during a discovery call.
